Ad spy tools collect other advertisers' ads from the public ad libraries. They come in two kinds:

- **Database tools** (AdSpy, BigSpy, Minea, PiPiADS): searchable archives of millions of ads, suited to dropshippers hunting products and buyers browsing creative across many advertisers.
- **Competitor trackers** (Rival Ads): follow named competitors across platforms, keep each ad after it stops, compare their account over time and alert you to launches; suited to brands, in-house marketers and agencies reporting to clients.

## What to look for

- Platforms covered beyond Meta (Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- History kept after ads leave the library
- Change detection: started, stopped, still running
- Alerts for launches
- Honest numbers: libraries publish no spend for ordinary ads
- Team access, PDFs and share links for reporting

## Rival Ads

Paste a competitor's website and Rival Ads finds their Facebook Page, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn presence, then collects every ad they run across Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads and Pinterest, with transcripts, hooks, angles, landing pages and an AI strategy read. Alerts go to email, Slack, Teams or Discord. Unlimited team members; full whitelabel on the Agency, Max and Ultra plans. Plans from $29/month, each with a 30-day free trial.
