> **Title:** Connect LinkedIn — Rival Ads Docs
> **Description:** Connect, verify, renew or disconnect the single LinkedIn member account used by all workspace LinkedIn monitors.

LinkedIn’s public Ad Library requires an authenticated member request. The workspace uses one LinkedIn connection for all LinkedIn monitors, projects and clients.

Only the workspace Owner can manage the connection because **Settings** is owner-only.

## Connect for the first time

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Select **Integrations**.
3. Find the LinkedIn card.
4. Select **Connect LinkedIn**.
5. Sign in to LinkedIn and approve the requested sign-in access.
6. Return to Rival Ads and confirm the card shows **Connected** and **Connected as** the expected member.

Any normal LinkedIn member account works. The advertising data is public; this connection does not connect a LinkedIn Ads account or expose that member’s campaigns to Rival Ads.

## Add a LinkedIn monitor

After connection:

1. Open **Monitors** and select **Add competitor**.
2. Complete **Competitor website** and the competitor details.
3. Under **Channels to track**, select **LinkedIn · Ad Library**.
4. Enter the public company or advertiser name.
5. Select **Start tracking**.

Check the first results to confirm the intended company was matched, especially when several companies use similar names.

## Reconnect before expiry

LinkedIn access lasts about 60 days. The integration card displays the expiry date and warns as it approaches.

1. Open **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Select **Reconnect**.
3. Complete LinkedIn sign-in again.
4. Confirm the new expiry date.

If access has expired, LinkedIn monitors cannot fetch until reconnection. Other channels continue independently.

## Disconnect

Select **Disconnect** to remove the workspace connection. Existing LinkedIn monitor history remains, but those monitors cannot fetch new data until another account is connected.

## Troubleshooting

- If the card still shows expired, complete **Reconnect** again and make sure the return to Rival Ads finishes.
- If results belong to the wrong advertiser, open the monitor and select **Edit** to correct **Advertiser name**.
- If the connection is healthy but a source check fails, use [Troubleshoot a sync](/docs/troubleshooting).

For the differences between sources, see [Supported channels](/docs/channels).
