This guide sets up a client who can see one client project and nothing else.

## 1. Create the client project

1. Open **Monitors**.
2. Select **New project**.
3. Enter the client under **Project name**.
4. Choose **Client language** or leave **Workspace default**.
5. Select **Create project**.

When adding competitors for the client, choose this project in **Track a competitor**. To move an existing monitor, open it, select **Edit**, change **Project**, and select **Save changes**.

## 2. Invite the client as a Member

1. Open **Team**.
2. Select **Invite teammate**.
3. Enter the client’s email.
4. Choose **Member — sees only assigned monitors**.
5. Select **Send invitation**.

Do not choose Admin for a scoped client: admins see every project and monitor.

## 3. Grant the right level

After the client appears under **Members**, select **Access**:

- Choose **Whole project** when the client should see every current and future monitor in their project.
- Choose **Specific monitors** when they should see only selected competitors.
- With **Specific monitors**, enable **Automatically add future monitors in this project** when future additions should be shared automatically.
- Leave unrelated projects at **No access**.
- Select **Save access**.

**All projects — current & future** is designed for an internal Member who needs everything without admin controls. Do not use it for a client who should be isolated.

## 4. Verify the result

The access summary should list the expected project or monitor count. For important client isolation, use a separate Member account to confirm:

- Only the client’s monitors appear under **Monitors**.
- Only saved ads from those monitors appear in **Library**.
- The client can open **Ads** and **Reporting**.
- Alerts and the weekly digest contain only allowed monitors.
- **Team**, **Alerts** and owner-only **Settings** are not available to the Member.

## Common scenarios

### Client sees every competitor for their brand

Use **Whole project**. New monitors added to the project are included automatically.

### Freelancer sees two competitors only

Use **Specific monitors** and leave **Automatically add future monitors in this project** off.

### Internal analyst sees everything but cannot manage the workspace

Invite as Member and enable **All projects — current & future**.

### Quick one-monitor grant

Open the monitor and select **Assign**. This is useful for a single direct grant; use **Team → Access** for project or future rules.

For the role model, see [Team, roles & access](/docs/team). For how moving a monitor affects visibility, see [Monitors & projects](/docs/monitors).
