# Whitelabel & custom domains

> **Title:** Whitelabel & custom domains — Rival Ads Docs
> **Description:** Apply your agency brand to the product, emails, reports and exports, then serve it from a verified custom domain.
> **Canonical URL:** https://www.rivalads.io/docs/whitelabel
> **Note:** This is the markdown twin of https://www.rivalads.io/docs/whitelabel. Append `.md` to any Rival Ads page URL to get markdown.

Whitelabel lets an agency present Rival Ads as its own competitive-intelligence service. It is included with the Agency and Max plans and AppSumo Tier 3 and 4. Workspace owners manage it under **Settings → Branding**.

## Whitelabel branding

The **Whitelabel branding** card includes:

- **Brand name** for customer-facing product identity.
- **Email sender name** for invitations, alerts and weekly digests.
- **Support email** for replies and paused-workspace help.
- **Logo** and **Logo size**.
- **Favicon** for browser tabs and bookmarks.
- **Sidebar / header color** and **Accent color**.
- **Hide "Powered by Rival Ads" everywhere**.

Select **Save branding** after changing text or colors. Logo and favicon uploads have their own controls.

## Where the brand appears

The workspace brand covers the signed-in product, sign-in and onboarding, workspace emails, public reports, PDF reports, Library exports and browser identity. If a workspace is not entitled to whitelabel, its saved custom branding is not applied to those surfaces.

Platform billing messages sent to the paying owner remain Rival Ads messages because they concern the owner’s subscription with Rival Ads.

## Add a custom domain

Use a subdomain such as `intel.example.com`:

1. Open **Settings → Branding** and find **Custom domain**.
2. Enter the domain and select **Add domain**.
3. At your DNS provider, add the CNAME and TXT records shown on screen.
4. Return to Rival Ads and select **Verify domain**.
5. Wait for the **Verified** badge before sharing the domain.

While ownership is unconfirmed, the card shows **Pending verification**. DNS changes often appear within minutes but can take longer depending on the provider. Encryption is prepared automatically after verification.

## Safe agency scenario

An agency can use `intel.agency.example`, upload its logo, set its support address, and invite a client as a Member. The client signs in on that domain, sees only the granted project, receives agency-branded emails and opens agency-branded reports.

The custom domain serves the product rather than Rival Ads marketing pages. Each workspace can have one custom domain, and one domain cannot be attached to multiple workspaces.
