Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rival Ads ("the Service"), operated by Rival Ads ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Rival Ads tracks advertisements that third parties publish on Meta platforms, using Meta's public Ad Library — a transparency surface Meta makes publicly available. The Service collects, stores and analyzes this public information and presents it in dashboards, reports and emails.

2. Accounts and workspaces

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • Workspace owners and admins control billing, team membership, monitor assignment and whitelabel settings. You are responsible for the people you invite.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for business purposes.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • The Service is paid-only. Plans differ by the number of competitor monitors included; all plans fetch weekly.
  • Fees are billed in advance monthly or annually via Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations at period end.
  • If payment fails we may retry and notify you; continued failure can lead to suspension of fetching and, ultimately, the workspace.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell or redistribute raw Service data outside your organization or your clients;
  • use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service;
  • misrepresent whitelabelled deployments as being unaffiliated with any obligations in these Terms.

5. Third-party content

Ad creatives, copy and related metadata shown in the Service originate from third-party advertisers via Meta's public Ad Library. We do not claim ownership of that content and display it solely for competitive-research, reporting and archival purposes. You are responsible for how you use it. Rival Ads is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.

6. AI-generated analysis

Strategy reads are generated by AI and may contain errors. They are provided for information only and are not professional advice. Always apply your own judgment before acting on them.

7. Whitelabel and custom domains

You may rebrand the Service within your workspace and serve it from a custom domain you control. You warrant that you have the rights to any branding you upload, and you remain responsible for your clients' use of whitelabelled access.

8. Data and availability

We work hard to keep fetching reliable, but the Service depends on the availability and structure of external platforms and is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee completeness of any ad archive.

9. Termination

You can cancel any time from the billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination your workspace data is retained for 90 days and then deleted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
